SUMMER COCKTAIL WORKSHOP

Who doesn't love a good cocktail!🍸🍹🥂


Would you like to know how to make some really great summer cocktails to treat your family and friends?


We are delighted to welcome Ian Doody who has worked in the drinks industry for over 12years. During this time which started in Boston he won numerous bartending and mixology. Ian has a passion for quality drinks and ingredients and teaching people how to create balanced drinks both at home and in cocktail bars. 

7.00pm - Arrival drinks will be served in The Glasshouse with some light bites/nibbles.

Ian will  prepare and serve all welcome drinks in The Glasshouse. You will have time to meet and greet other participants and enjoy a relaxed stroll around the Walled Garden with drink in hand. 

The Welcome drink will be a Wild Rosé Spritz which would be both low ABV with a low sugar content. Idea of this drink is, it's light, approachable & refreshing


7:30pm - Workshop begins in The Stables


We will create 2 cocktails in the first session, one of which can be batched to prepare for hosting guests at home 

These cocktails will be a Mojito or Daiquiri  and a Negroni but with both being a twist on a classic version.

8:30pm - Break for 30 mins with some light bites/nibbles.


9pm - Workshop Part 2 runs till 10pm.

We will create 2 more cocktails in this second session. These cocktails will be "After Dinner / Dessert" themed.


These cocktails will be an Espresso Martini and a Whiskey Sour, but with both being a twist on the classic version.


Welcome Drink - Spritz, light, low ABV & sugar content

Cocktail 1: Mojito or Daiquiri - Rum based & sweet

Cocktail 2: Negroni - Gin based & bitter

Cocktail 3: Whiskey Sour - Irish Whiskey based, balance of sweet & sour

Cocktail 4: Espresso Martini - Irish White spirit based, balance of sweet & bitter


Everyone will  have  an opportunity to make  4 cocktails.  After shaking and stirring you can sit back relax and sip your own creations in the very atmospheric restored stables of Coolamber House. 


This promises to be a fun and informative evening ! All alcohol, mixers, fruit, herbs and embellishments will be supplied. You will also have printed recipes to take home with you.

Spaces are strictly limited to 12 participants. Booking is essential!
