Join Herbalist Helen McCormack for a fun day learning about the common plants that grow around us and their medicinal value.  See how to use these plants in many forms to create your own Herbal First Aid kit.

Helen McCormack has been practising at her herbal clinic in Marino, Dublin 3 since graduating from the College of Herbal Medicine (U.K.) in 1994.

She treats a wide range of health problems in her clinic. She also has a background in Health and Wellbeing, combining workshops and courses with growing medicinal plants and making many of the remedies she uses in her practice.

Helen will demonstrate various methods for making a range of remedies creating effective medicines from medicinal plants, from healing salves, syrups, tinctures, and more.

Arrive to a hot cup of tea/ coffee and scones in our renovated stables with a warm log burning fire.
This space full of character will provide the perfect atmosphere to meet other people with a shared
interest and swap many tips and nuggets of advice

A delicious home cooked two-course lunch will be served at 1pm in the dining room of Coolamber
House including a glass of sparkling Cava (not alcohol option also available)

After Lunch Ann Marie will take you on a short guided walk in our 1 acre walled garden our
Reflective Walled Garden currently under construction, outbuildings, potting shed and Gardeners
Cottage.

To end the day, there will be a practical demonstration.

You will get recipes and samples of the remedies we make during the workshop.

 

You will leave Coolamber not only more knowledgable but also with a useful herbal remedy to take home
